Innovation workshops · Design education
Hands-on workshops for senior professionals, executive programmes, and design schools built on 25 years of product design and 10+ years running the adidas Makerlab. No slides. No frameworks. Just a bag of objects, fresh eyes, and a completely different way of seeing.
"Complicare e facile,
semplificare e difficile."
Bruno Munari
To complicate is easy.
To simplify is hard.
About
Hack Yourself is a workshop and education practice built on 20 years designing product at adidas and a decade running one of the most hands-on innovation spaces inside a global brand, the adidas Makerlab network.
The work is rooted in Bruno Munari's philosophy. Not just simplicity as a tool, but the belief that design should be experienced, not observed. Munari saw creativity as vital as literacy, something learned through exploration, experimentation, and interaction with the world. His approach was interdisciplinary, hands-on, and deeply human. Making before knowing. Asking better questions instead of solving the wrong problem faster.
Since 2017, I have collaborated with design schools and universities across Europe connecting industry reality with academic creativity.

What I offer
Each session is fully hands-on. Participants work with real objects and their own real challenges, not case studies. The goal is never to teach a method. It is to change how you see.
All workshops are available as standalone sessions or as part of a hybrid programme with structured online follow-up.
A half-day session that rewires how participants observe. Using everyday objects, teams practice the art of asking questions nobody else is asking and finding answers hiding in plain sight.
"What if the solution was already in front of you and you were just looking at it wrong?"
Half day · Any teamA full-day workshop on problem reframing. Teams receive broken or obsolete objects and must redesign them as solutions to real challenges in their organisation. The constraint is the point.
"The most creative solutions rarely come from the most obvious starting point."
Full day · Up to 20Teams build a physical prototype of a real business idea using only materials from a bag. No screens. No preparation. Validate before investing and prove that making is faster than thinking.
"90 minutes to build something real is more valuable than 90 days of slides."
Half day · ExecutiveCollaborations
Since 2017, I have collaborated with design schools and universities across Europe as guest lecturer, mentor, and sprint facilitator, connecting students with real industry challenges and professionals with creative thinking tools.
